Shadows and reflections can add visual interest to a photo. For the last picture, I put a whisk in a glass bowl. I took the photo at night while shining a light behind the object, and the shadow is cast in front of the bowl and whisk. The positive spaces of the picture would be the whisk while the negative spaces would be in between the parts of the whisk. There is many lines produced in this photo. The bowl creates a circle around most of the picture while the whisk also creates curved lines in the middle of the photograph. When looking at this picture, it reminds me of a dark empty house with an eerie light shone on the objects. It creates a sense of emptiness and loneliness.
